Hey, It's Anson
A little about me

My journey began with an iPhone 5, a Canon Digicam, and a refusal to be limited by resources. I spent those early years teaching myself the physics of light through a fully manual discipline. What started as a side quest in a unique style eventually gained recognition from brands, transforming a personal experiment into a professional purpose.
Five years later, I divide my time between mentoring aspiring photographers and providing brands with the high-impact imagery they deserve. My craft has naturally evolved into cinematography; I am currently bringing that same intentional lens to the music industry, directing and filming visual stories for artists.
I believe that vision is worth more than gear or a large following on socials. Whether you are a business owner or a creative, your story deserves to be told with honesty and connection.
My advice? Don't wait for the perfect tools and start with your vision. Just go for it.
About Flickography
Passion, into something bigger
What does Flickography mean?
In our digital age, a flick is often seen as just a raw, quick photograph. In my view, photography should be authentic, but it must also have the compositional depth to truly draw the viewer's eye. That is the core of Flickography: the art of transforming authentic moments into polished pieces of art that honor the origins of photography.
Today, Flickography is a growing photography and filming business serving the Metro Vancouver area. I help brands and creatives secure the high-impact imagery and exposure they deserve through authentic film and professional photography.
If you believe in this vision, I invite you to follow along. Flickography is just getting started... stay tuned!
